Observing the training of Guangzhou Blue Sky Rescue Associat

On September 11th, Guangzhou Blue Sky Rescue Association organized team training and the opening ceremony of the 10th batch of students at Longdong Reservoir and surrounding mountains in Tianhe District. Xie Yongtao, Executive Director of Guangzhou Heping Orthopedic Hospital, and Wang Xiaoli, Director of Trauma Microsurgery Surgery Zone 1, attended the event as representatives of friendly cooperative units and conducted observation and exchange.

 

 

 

 

 

The Guangzhou Blue Sky Rescue Association is a professional non-governmental volunteer public welfare rescue organization, mainly engaged in rescue and social security work in Guangzhou and surrounding areas. Wherever emergency rescue is needed in Guangzhou and its surrounding areas, their presence may be there.

In order to improve the overall rescue skills and practical abilities of the team, and to hone the willpower and physical fitness of the team members, the Blue Sky Rescue Team will regularly hold training activities. This training includes the establishment of an emergency rescue command center, camp construction, and standardized management of wireless communication; Troubleshooting of the tail engine of the powered boat, level jumping on the water surface, attacking, and ensuring exercises, self rescue of the unpowered boat capsizing, and training on shore departure operations; Mountain search and emergency treatment of mountain environment, transportation of mountain wounded, and high-altitude rope rescue; Medical assistance and urban search and rescue subjects, as well as training on the dismantling of distressed vehicles, the escape of distressed individuals from vehicles, complex space rescue, and the transportation of wounded.

 

 

 

 

Director Wang Xiaoli provided professional feedback and guidance on how to safely rescue individuals with spinal injuries who were trapped in their vehicles. He said that for those with spinal injuries, it is necessary to ensure that their torso is in a horizontal state. If there is a serious injury wound, it must be treated in the correct order of hemostasis, bandaging, fixation, and transportation.

Dean Xie Yongtao said that Guangzhou Heping Orthopedic Hospital is a well-known orthopedic specialty hospital specializing in trauma surgery. Since its establishment, the hospital has actively undertaken social responsibility and supported the development of social welfare undertakings. In the future, it will continue to strengthen cooperation with Guangzhou Blue Sky Rescue Association to help improve its rescue capabilities.
